One of ShowTown’s missions is to provide programming that is affordable to the general public. However, the full cost of ShowTown’s high quality productions can rarely be covered by ticket sales alone. And some events are free to the public despite real costs to produce them. Accordingly, ShowTime relies on donations to make up the difference. If you can afford to make a donation, we would be most grateful. The only way in which to sustain operations is through donations. All of ShowTown’s funds go directly towards financing the events – mostly in paying the talent. No member of ShowTown is paid; we all work for free, volunteering our time.
The IRS has classified ShowTown as a public charity and approved ShowTown as tax exempt from federal income taxes under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3). Accordingly, donors may deduct contributions to ShowTown. See IRS approval letter here.

Thank you for considering making a contribution to ShowTown. We cannot survive without people chipping in who are able to do so.
